Exhibiting alongside other artists at the Animal Arts Fair brings Matt's animal paintings to a wider audience.

'Animals are a subject I have long been fascinated about, and over the years I've built-up a stock of animal sketches from home and travels abroad.

All the paintings are sketched from life to capture the true animal, with colour added later to help convey the overall message. For me it's not about conventional representation, as a photo would be, but more about spontaneity and the subject itself - the primary essence or the primitive spirit.'

Matt's painting 'Dog Walkers' was shortlisted by the Royal Academy for their Summer Exhibition, and in 2012 exhibited with Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust about His paintings and their work in Madagascar.
